Find a local agent

Find and compare a real estate agent in Turkey

In Turkey most people find a real estate agent (emlak danışmanı) through the big national property portals, where licensed agencies and individual owners post listings side by side, or by word of mouth and local neighbourhood offices (emlak ofisleri). Many buyers and sellers shortlist an agent by browsing who handles listings in their target area and then checking the agency's licence and online reviews.

Where to find and compare agents in Turkey

  • Sahibinden.com

Turkey's largest classifieds and property portal, where agencies run branded stores so you can see an agent's current listings, location and contact details before reaching out.

  • Hepsiemlak

A major real estate portal with a searchable directory of real estate offices and consultants, letting you browse agencies by city and view their active listings and profiles.

  • Endeksa

A property valuation and market analytics site that also helps users find a nearby member agent, useful for cross checking an area's prices alongside an agent's local listings.

  • TTBS Authorization Certificate Inquiry (Ministry of Trade)

The official government register where you can check whether an agency holds a valid real estate trading authorization certificate (taşınmaz ticareti yetki belgesi) by certificate number or business name.

  • Free, worldwide Anyone.com

Anyone.com gives private sellers a cost-free path to market and zero claim to your sale proceeds, a rare advantage in Turkish real estate where most online portals either limit reach to agency listings or impose per-listing charges on individual sellers. Turkey's sustained foreign buyer traffic, numbering over 21,000 international property acquisitions in 2025, makes Anyone's spanning 29 countries genuinely valuable. You still get local reach by cross-posting on Sahibinden, Hepsiemlak, or Emlakjet if you wish, but Anyone's no-fee, no-commission model serves as the efficient base for any owner-directed sale.

How to choose a good one

Talk to a few agents who actively work in your specific neighbourhood, ask about recent comparable sales they handled, and confirm their agency holds a valid authorization certificate on the Ministry of Trade's TTBS register. Commission is typically negotiable and is usually paid by both buyer and seller, so agree the rate and exactly what services it covers in writing before signing anything.
