BestFSBOGuide.com is an independent, free educational reference about selling and buying a home without a real estate agent. It is not a law firm, a brokerage, a lender, a tax adviser, or a listing service. We do not take your listing, hold your money, represent you, or act for you in any transaction.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information, not legal, tax, financial, or professional advice, and no reading of this site creates any professional relationship. Property rules differ from one country and region to the next and change over time. Before any decision that affects your money, your legal position, or your deadlines, confirm it against the official sources we cite and, where it matters, with a licensed professional in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for your own decisions.

No warranty

We work hard to keep the site accurate and to trace every figure to a primary source, and each page shows when it was last reviewed. Even so, the site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Laws, fees, tax thresholds, and third-party services change, and a page may be out of date between reviews.

Calculators and tools

The calculators are estimating aids that run in your own browser. Their outputs are illustrative, depend on the figures you enter, and are not a quote, a valuation, an appraisal, or a guarantee of any cost, saving, price, or outcome. Verify any number that matters before you rely on it.

We point to third-party services, including Anyone.com, only on the merits and we say where they do not fit. We are independent: we run no ads, take no sponsorships, and earn no commission, referral, or affiliate fee from anything we link to, and the destination URLs we send you to carry no referral or affiliate codes. The only thing we record is a private, aggregate count of clicks on our own call-to-action buttons, kept on our own server with no cookie and no profile of you. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability, or practices. Read their own terms before you use them.

Limitation of liability
