Find a local agent

Find and compare a real estate agent in the Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic most people find an agent (realitní makléř) through the big property portals like Sreality.cz, through personal recommendations, or via broker-comparison and review sites. Since the 2020 Real Estate Brokerage Act, brokering is a regulated bound trade, so agents must hold the relevant trade licence and proof of professional competence.

Where to find and compare agents in the Czech Republic

  • Sreality.cz - directory (adresar)

The agent and agency directory of the country's largest property portal, browsable by region with listings counts and user ratings for each office.

  • Srovnani Makleru.cz

An independent service that lets you browse profiles of certified brokers, read client reviews, and request matched recommendations in your area.

  • Recenze realitek.cz

A consumer review site that aggregates ratings and written feedback on real estate agencies and individual brokers across the country.

  • ARK CR - certified brokers register

The searchable member directory of the Association of Real Estate Agencies of the Czech Republic, listing certified brokers with contacts filterable by region.

How to choose a good one

Interview a few agents, compare their recent local sales, references, and how they handle escrow and contracts, and confirm they hold the required real estate brokerage trade licence, which you can check in the public trade register at rzp.gov.cz. Commission is negotiable, so ask what the fee covers and get the terms in writing before you sign.

. Agent directories and fees change, so confirm current details on each site.
